It has been talked about for a long time Salman Khan turning host for Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, there was no confirmation of the same. The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by none other Karan Johar. A few months ago, there were reports that Karan would not be returning as the host and instead Salman would be taking over the web version as well. Salman Khan to host Bigg Boss OTT 2

Speculations were rife as to whether Salman Khan would take over the duties of hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2. As Salman hosts the Bigg Boss season on TV for around four months every year. Besides, he also has films to shoot for. But now all speculations have been put to rest as the Bigg Boss OTT promo video is out. Salman Khan has been confirmed as the host. In the promo video, we see the actor announcing the premiere of Bigg Boss OTT 2 at Jio Cinemas. The actor says that he will come up with the web version of Bigg Boss soon, so India should watch out. Earlier there were speculations about Ranveer Singh hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2. But they were baseless. The names of Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra also surfaced. Tejasswi won Bigg Boss 16 while Karan was the jailer for Lock Upp. Talking about the contestant list, many celebrity names like Nia Sharma, Munawar Farooqui, Anushka Sen, Kevin Almasifar, Fahman Khan, Urfi Javed, Aditya Narayan came out. Urfi, Aditya and Fahmaan denied being a part of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Recently, Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen also denied being a part of Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Just recently it was said that the cast of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is in talks with the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, Harshad Arora have quit the show and the makers will introduce a completely new cast. Aishwarya Sharma, on the other hand, is in Cape Town shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Let’s see when Bigg Boss OTT 2 will actually premiere.
