Winter descended upon South Korea all of a sudden, with fall quickly transitioning into winter in a heartbeat. But when it comes to fashion, it seems like K-pop celebrities are ready to brave the cold in style. Here are the trending accessories and key pieces that stars are wearing to keep warm while looking cool.
Classic black jackets
Always the trendsetters, Jennie and Krystal were seen out and about in winter’s staple paddings, but they added a different vibe to their looks. Jennie wore a head-to-toe Chanel outfit in a semi-cropped jacket that looked effortless and stylish, while Krystal attended a brand event in a stylish pleather jacket that looked both sporty and chic.
Another favorite outerwear of choice is the leather shearling coat that Lim Nayeong, Yeri, and model Yang Ha Yeong were seen wearing. It can instantly dress up any outfit and will surely keep you warm!
Newtro leg warmers
You might have noticed the recent Y2K trend that K-pop stars seem to love nowadays. Styles from the late ’90s to the 2000’s are becoming in vogue again with updated styling. The schoolgirl look of S.E.S. back in the days is revamped into high teen style that mixes luxury designer and hip streetwear brands.
A statement Y2K piece that stood out this season are leg warmers that the members of TWICE and NewJeans rocked. It was also worn by Jennie in one of her solo stages from the BLACKPINK world tour.
