It so happened that a few weeks ago Rashmika Mandana was asked if she had seen Rishabh Shetty’s critically acclaimed film Kantara and she said no. It soon turned into a controversy with several fans stating that she disrespected Canada’s film industry. This led to rumors that she would be banned from Canada’s film industry as she upset many by not watching Kantara. However, now Rashmika Mandana has cleared the air on this matter.
During a recent media interaction, Rashmika Mandana spoke about trolls, controversy with Kantara and being banned from the industry. She said she has nothing but love for those who troll her. Because of Kantara, she justified that she was asked if she had watched the movie just two days after its release and till then she had not. Later she watched the movie and even sent a message to the team about the same. She said she got a thank you from them. Rashmika Mandana mentioned that people don’t know what is happening inside and she is not one to share messages on social media. Speaking about facing a ban from Canada’s film industry, she said, “I’ve never been banned before.”
