After making his Bollywood debut in the 2010 film Band Baaja Baraat, Ranveer Singh went on to become one of the top stars in the film industry. Singh’s performance in his debut film won him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and from there on, he went on to establish himself as one of the top paid Bollywood actors. Films like Lootera (2013), Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018), Simmba (2018), and Gully Boy (2019) were commercially successful. In addition to acting, the 37-year-old has also worked as a host on the television game show The Big Picture.

1. Cirkus

A comedy-drama film directed by Rohit Shetty, Cirkus stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, and Varun Sharma. Singh’s wife Deepika Padukone will also be seen in a special appearance in the film. Cirkus is an adaptation of the 1982 film Angoor, which was based on William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors. Cirkus, the story of which revolves around the life of a circus operator, marks the reunion of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh after Simmba (2018). The film was previously scheduled to release on 31 December 2021 but was postponed to 2022 due to shooting delays. Cirkus has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 180 crore.
