Bollywood actors who hail from a filmy background often have a negative image among the masses as people don’t find them deserving of the fame and success they get. However, that is not the case with Ranbir Kapoor. Son of late Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir has a devoted fanbase as he has a that perfect balance of skills and fame and he always tries to do something new with his characters.
The actor was last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama ‘Brahmastra’ and in a recent media interaction, he talked about his plans to venture into Hollywood. Talking to Deadline, Ranbir said, “I’d never say never, but I’m pretty content with the kind of opportunities that are coming my way in my country in my language. I’d rather act in my language because it comes naturally to me. But never say never.”
Apart from that, Ranbir also has plans to direct a film but he is quite insecure about it. He said, “I have always wanted to direct and make a movie. But I’ve really not mastered the courage to write a story. I have always waited for a story to come to me naturally. But the f*** up is that I’m not a writer, and I’m really shy when it comes to sharing my ideas with other people. But I’m working on it, and it’s something that is in my ten-year plan: To start directing movies and hopefully act in them too.”
