Ranbir Kapoor calls Deepika Paducone a “veteran” because of his career schedule; says, “Because I know Deepika so closely, I was so impressed.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Paducone caught their eye for their closeness to each other. They met on the set of Bachna Ae Haseeno and came out from 2008-09. While Deepika made his big Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om (2007), Ranbir entered the industry with Sonam Kapoor in Sanjay Lila Bhansali’s Saawariya (2007). As he talked about how they started their careers and how far they had come, Ranbir called Deepika a veteran because he was surprised to see how the latter had grown as an actor over the years. During his interview with Brut India, Ranbir talks about a scene from Tamasha where Deepika tries to stop him from leaving, included in the song Agar Tum Sath Ho. “(It) was supported by the implementation of Deepika. There are certain scenes that lean towards an actor’s character and the scene really had my character’s arch because he was messing around, he was going through something. But I think the way Deepika did it, what Deepika brought it to the table, she revived it, because you really feel pain. And that’s why it was such a reactive scene. “What I did, she reacted, what she did, I reacted,” he said. He added: “I’ve always had such a good time working with Deepika because we started together. She grew up so much as an actor, we made our second film together called Bachna Ae Haseeno. And I worked with her again on Yeh Jawani hai Deewani. I don’t think I’ve ever been so surprised by growing up as an actor. Because I know Deepika so closely, I was so impressed. On the labor front, Ranbir also has a Brahmastra with his wife Aliya Bhat and Sandip’s upcoming big animal Redi Vanga against Rashmika Mandana. Deepika, on the other hand, Pataan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and she will also appear in a cameo as Ranvir Singh in Circus.
