Rakul Preet Singh has proven her acting prowess not just in Bollywood but also in the South. The actress made her acting debut in the 2009 Kannada film Gilli, and since then, she has given some standout performances in a number of films, including Dhruva, Nannaku Prematho, Venkatadri Express, Spyder and De De Pyaar De, to mention a few. She has worked with several mega superstars on different films throughout her career. She has also worked in movies including Runway 34 with Ajay Devgan, Sarrainodu with Allu Arjun, NGK with Suriya, Marjaavan, Cuttputlli with Akshay Kumar, among others.

As much as exciting these projects appear because of the star cast, they can certainly make a young actor feel pressured. But somehow, Rakul Preet has a different take on the same. In a recent conclave that she attended, while talking about her experience working with big stars, she said, “There is no pressure in working with these prolific performers from the industry. I feel that we often take this for granted, that if there is any work, there should be pressure. When there is a lot of passion, when you worked so hard to do this specifically, you stood in lines for auditions, met several people”.
She further continued, “Today, when I am in that moment and if I come under pressure, then either I don’t deserve to be there or there is something wrong. Because when you have that moment, you make the most of it.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul was last seen in Chhatriwali. The film aimed at imparting a strong message on sex education. It released on Zee5. Rakul will be next seen in a yet untitled film with Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor. In her pipeline, she has Meri Patni Ka Remake in Hindi, Ayalaan, 31 October Ladies Night, which is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
