The news about the third movie in the Hera Peri franchise came out two days ago, on February 22. A leaked photo of the series’ famous trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal – was spotted along with the team while doing a promo for the film at a studio in Mumbai. Interestingly, despite being the third film in the franchise, it holds the title Hera Pheri 4.

There is a lot of curiosity among the fans to know what the next installment of the series has in store. It is now learned that this time the Hera Peri trio of Raju, Shyam and Babu bhaiya played by Akshay, Shetty and Rawal would tour internationally.
Rawal revealed this in a conversation with Mid-Day along with the film’s shooting schedule. “We’ll start shooting in three months,” he told the publication. “It will be a (long) schedule in Mumbai. The film will also be shot in international locations such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Los Angeles while Babu Bhaiya, Raju and Shyam go abroad. They will do hera pheri worldwide.”
Rawal was happy to meet his co-stars recently for the promo shoot. “Meeting them felt like ghar wapsi. It’s always fun shooting with Akshay and Suniel. They are talented actors who are not insecure about their work. We have mutual respect. Our off-screen camaraderie is reflected in our on-screen chemistry,” he continued to tell the publication.
Earlier there were reports that Kartik would replace Aaryan Akshay in the third installment of Hera Peri. Rawal responded to this, revealing, “As far as I know, both Kartik and Akshay were initially going to make the film, but it didn’t work out. I do not know what happened.”
The first movie in the series, titled Hera Peri, was released in 2000 and became a cult classic. It was directed by Priyadarshan. But Neeraj Vora took the director’s chair for it Phir Hera Pherireleased in 2006. Hera Pheri 4 will be directed by Farhad Samji.
