Harry spoke about his claims that William hit him during an argument in 2019 in an interview with ITV and told interviewer Tom Bradbury that he “would like to have (his) brother back”.
Bradbury begins the interview by asking Harry why he decided to write the memoir, to which he replies, “For 38 years, my story has been told by so many different people, with deliberate twisting and distortion.”
“It felt like a good time to tell my story and own it for myself,” he said.
The interview aired three years ago, since Harry and Meghan announced they would be stepping down from their royal roles.
Much of the content of Harry’s memoir has already been leaked to the media after the Spanish version was released five days earlier.

The memoir is known to be a personal account of Harry’s struggles with the death of his mother, his time in the army and his conflicts with the media.
