AS interviews go, it would never be up there with Frost/Nixon or even Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew.
ITV’s Tom Bradby is unlikely to be up for an impartiality award any time soon.
But Bradby is now the main trickster in Harry and Meghan’s court, so what can we expect?
As for Harry, the laser beam of his hatred was aimed squarely at the press.
I blushed when he attributed a brainwashing power to us, going so far as to have Harry and Meghan flee the country “fearing for their lives”.
What quickly becomes apparent is that when the Duke isn’t lashing out at his family, he believes the media is to blame for every one of his woes.
Take Diana. For the first time, her youngest son blames her death entirely on the paparazzi.
Although his account of the night she died is certainly moving, Harry makes claims that are illogical and absurd.
I understand his point that royal life is not everyone’s cup of tea, but he loses our sympathy in his refusal to accept personal responsibility for his mistakes or to acknowledge that anyone else, including his brother William, can be his equal in suffering .
