Pooja Hegde is currently gearing up for the big release of her next film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan opposite Salman Khan. Ever since the trailer of the film dropped, Pooja has a charmed the audience in the trailer.
Pooja Hegde reveals how she bagged the leading role opposite Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan; says, “The film came to me before the lockdown”
However, very few people know how she actually landed the part. When asked Pooja about the same, she said, “The film came to me before the lockdown. The title was different. After watching my film Mohenjo Daro, Salman Sir said we will definitely do something together, we will work together. My character of a Telugu’s girl fits me perfectly well and I can’t wait for the fans to watch the film.”
Earlier, recalling her first reaction when she got the film offered, Pooja Hegde told Bollywood Bubble, “I was very happy. I had actually signed this film very long back. At that time, the title was something else. Sajid Nadiadwala sir was on board for it. And we had just done Housefull 4, together.”
Talking about understanding the role she was set to play, Pooja added, “I knew that I was playing a Telugu girl in the film. So, I was like, ‘Oh my god! Amazing’. But, it’s shaped up really well.”
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a Farhad Samji directorial and is slated to release on April 21. Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that Salman will be returning to the Eid release after four years. Besides Khan and Hegde, the ensemble star cast of the film also features Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar. The film will be a Zee Studios worldwide release. She also has SSMB 28 with Mahesh Babu in the pipeline along with a few interesting projects which will be announced soon.
