Single’s Inferno

If dramatic reality TV shows are your thing, then you’ll enjoy Single’s Inferno. The Netflix original dating show features sexy singles living together on an island in the hopes of finding love over the course of nine days. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

This YesStylist-approved Korean drama is an unusual love story between a stoic psychiatric hospital worker (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and an antagonistic children’s book author (played by Seo-Ye-ji). The series is full of melodramatic scenes, heartfelt plot developments and extravagant haute couture moments. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

This fantastical drama tells the story of a 939-year-old goblin and protector of souls in search of a bride to break his immortal curse. Regina recommends this show for fans of South Korean heartthrob Gong Yoo, who plays the goblin. Zoe also comments on how immaculately well-dressed the male characters are in the drama, with their long and swaying winter coats.

My Name

If action thrillers are more up your alley, give My Name a go. The series follows Yoon Ji-woo (played by Han So-hee), a revenge-driven woman who joins an organized crime ring and infiltrates the police as an undercover agent to avenge the death of her father. A departure from the actress’s previous breakout role in the 2020 K-Drama The World of the Married, this is Han So-hee’s first foray into portraying such a fierce and intense character, and she does so in an all-black wardrobe.

Squid Game

This dystopian survival drama took the world by storm last year when the series became the most watched show on Netflix to date, surpassing Bridgerton. Squid Game revolves around a competition where 456 debt-ridden players risk their lives in a series of children’s games for a chance to win the ₩45.6 billion prize.
