Eastern Coalfields Recruitment 2022: Coal India Limited (CIL) has invited applications from qualified and experienced personnel duly eligible for various specialty posts engaged by Medical Executives i) Senior Medical Officer (E4), ii) Medical Officer (E3) of Surgeon, General Practitioner , Orthopedist , Dermatology Departments And iii) Senior Medical Officer (E3). There are 12 (04 + 02 + 06) vacancies for Senior Medical Officer (E4), ii) Medical Officer (E3) and iii) Senior Medical Officer in multiple specialty branches/disciplines. Coal India will conduct selection for Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL).

Among the candidates who meet the Eligibility Criteria specific to the selected post for a particular specialty and intend to submit their respective applications may proceed with the application in the Proforma Application Form as per the Instructions available in the attached Recruitment Advertisement .

Note: The personnel working in Coal India Limited and Subsidiary is free from age limit. However, they must ensure that they meet the job-specific Essential Requirements. They have to submit their respective applications with a no-objection certificate issued by the Personnel Control Authority (CCA) under the Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) Collection Rule to 27.10.2022.

Age limit (as of 31.08.2022):

01. Senior medical specialist (grade E4): 42 years for general/unreserved category

02. Senior Medical Officer (E-3)/Medical Specialist (Grade E-3): 35 years.

03. Relaxation of upper age limits for reserved candidates from the community.

04. Relaxation of upper age limit for ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Note: There is no age bar for CIL and support staff. However, they must meet other eligibility conditions, including qualifications.

01) Senior Medical Officer (E4) and Medical Specialist (E3)

Pay Scale: (Senior Medical Officer: E4) Rs.70,000 to Rs.2.00 Lac/(Medical Specialist: E3) Rs.60,000 to Rs.1.80 Lac respectively

Educational qualifications and experience:

For General Surgery, General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine – The minimum qualification is Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from any duly recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a recognized post- Graduate/Diploma of National Board (DNB) with minimum 03 years post qualification experience.

02. As far as the eligibility criteria is concerned, the candidate must have obtained registration number from Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council (SMC)/Dental Council of India (DCI)/State Dental Council (SDC) against their respective qualifications.

02) Senior Medical Specialist (E3)

Pay Scale: E3: Rs.60000 to Rs.1.80 Lac

Educational qualifications and experience:

For General Surgery, General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine – The minimum qualification is Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from any duly recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a recognized post- Graduate/Diploma of National Board (DNB) with minimum 03 years post qualification experience.

A Post Graduate Diploma (in addition to the above) is also considered as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.

02. As far as the eligibility criteria is concerned, the candidate must have obtained registration number from Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council (SMC)/Dental Council of India (DCI)/State Dental Council (SDC) against their respective qualifications.

03) Senior Medical Officer (E-3)

Pay Scale: E3: Rs.60000 to Rs.1.80 Lac

MBBS from any duly recognized institute/college approved by the Medical Council of India.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from any duly recognized Institute/College approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) with 01 years post qualification experience from any reputed Hospital/Clinic.
Note:

01. Candidates who have obtained a basic eligible qualification from a foreign university/institute will also be considered subject to submission of a certificate of passing the qualifying examination from the Medical Council of India (MCI).

02. As far as the eligibility criteria is concerned, the candidate must have obtained registration number from Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council (SMC)/Dental Council of India (DCI)/State Dental Council (SDC) against their respective qualifications.

03. 01 year period of internship which is part of study programs is not considered as experience.
