Aftersun is without one of the best films of the year, and one of the most confident debuts in quite some time, from Scottish director Charlotte Wells. To mark the film’s release, following a triumphant run on the festival circuit, we had the immense pleasure of talking to the talent both in front of and behind the lens, as we chatted with lead stars Paul Mezcal and Frankie Corio, as well as Welles herself.

Mezcal and Corio discuss the bond they share as they tell us if they’ve been able to stay in touch since filming ended. Mezcal also talks about working with Welles, and Corio delves into the unique experience that the film gave her. Synopsis
