Siddharth Anand, who recently wrapped up the Spain schedule of his upcoming film, ‘Pathaan’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, said that he intends to make it the biggest event film of India.

Spilling some beans about his recently wrapped international schedule, the filmmaker said that it has turned out beyond what they had envisaged. According to him, the film commands a massive scale, and he is happy with what they have achieved. The director also added that the fact that they could finally pull off such a schedule without any hassle is a huge feat for the production.

Considering that the 2023 release marks Khan’s return to the big screen after over four years, the director is leaving no stone unturned to make it worth the wait. Siddharth revealed that he intends to make it the biggest event film of India. In fact, he strives to make every film a bigger experience for the audience than his last film. According to him, it is his personal ambition to make ‘Pathaan’ on par with any film made in the world.

Apart from Shah Rukh and Deepika, the movie also stars John Abraham in the lead role. The trio will be seen sharing screen space together for the first time. It is slated to release in January, 2023.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth also has ‘Fighter’ in his kitty which stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
