Not Just Nora Fatehi These Other Actors Also Walked Out Of Shows And Interviews

In a recently released promo clip from the upcoming episodes of the reality TV show, Moving In With Malaika, it appears as though Nora Fatehi walked away mid-discussion with Malaika after the latter said some things which weren’t the nicest.

This is not the first time a celebrity has walked out after allegedly feeling disrespected on a show. So, here’s what seems to have happened between Malaika and Nora, and which other celebrities walked out during shows as well.

Why did Nora Fatehi walk out during Malaika Arora’s show?

We see a clip where Nora meets Malaika, and then an interview clip of Malaika from the show has her saying, “I’ve worked with her couple of times. I felt she was a little blow-hot, blow cold kind of a person.”

It then cuts to the two sitting down together and someone suggesting that they make a reel together on ‘Chhaiyyan Chhaiyyan’. Nora is heard saying, “I’ve to get value for myself too, you know. Anyways, thank you guys, bye,” and walking out of the meeting, leading to the third person in the meeting walk behind her and say, “Wait, Nora! Wait a minute!”

Now, we don’t know if these are out-of-context clips strung together to create the illusion of drama when there was none, or if there really was a disagreement due to Malaika calling Nora hot and cold. Did Nora really walk out in a state of anger, or is this clip misleading? We can’t say, but we do know that there have been some cases when celebrities have really done it.

Abhishek Bachchan recently walked out after his father was joked about

Abhishek Bachchan made headlines after he left the sets of Riteish Deshmukh’s show, Case Toh Banta Hai, when comedian Paritosh Tripathi cracked a joke on Amitabh Bachchan.

To this, Abhishek responded by saying, “It’s getting a bit too much. I’m all game for myself. I get it, but let’s not get into parents and all that. Mujh tak jokes rakh lena, pitaji ko lekar main thoda sensitive ho jaata hu. Vo mere pita hain, mujhe acha nahi lagta.”

Most people on social media lauded Abhishek for standing up for his parents, and appreciated the gracious manner in which he expressed his views. But it turns out, Abhishek was just joking about being offended, because he came back to the sets and told Paritosh that he was just trolling him! So, we suppose no feelings were actually hurt in the end.

For those who don’t know, singer and RJ Suchitra Karthik had accused Dhanush of spiking her drink, and having sex with her while she was under the influence. She also alleged that he filmed it and leaked it on social media.

So, when Dhanush was promoting a movie and went on TV9 Telugu, the interviewer asked about this case. The actor angrily walked out, saying “This is a very stupid interview.”

He has maintained his silence on this issue till date.

Tannishtha Chatterjee walked out of ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’

Award-winning actor Tannishtha Chatterjee perhaps had the most valid reason for walking out of a show. During a “roast” on Comedy Nights Bachao, she was mocked for her skin tone.

Tannishtha wrote a long post on social media, detailing the colourism masquerading as humour. She said, “To my utmost horror, I soon realised that the only quality they found worth roasting about in me was my skin tone. It began with ‘Aapko jamun bahut pasand hoga zaroor! Kitna jamun khaya aapne bachpan se?’” Some comedians really need to do better!

John Abraham walked out of ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ too

John Abraham also went on the show, Comedy Nights Bachao, where comics roast several Bollywood actors. Here, comedian Krushna Abhishek made fun of his acting and expressions, particularly in the film Paap. This didn’t go down well with John, who walked out of the show.

So, in which of these instances do you think celebrities were right in walking out? Tell us in the comments below!
