R. Madhavan speaks his mind and doesn’t want to sound diplomatic while answering questions. We all know that Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are acting together in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha after 20 years. This original Tamil blockbuster starring R Madhavan as Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi as Veda. While Madhavan is quite excited about the remake, he wants to see if Saif can beat his performance as he is playing his part in the remake.
“I don’t want to give you a very diplomatic answer. Hrithik Roshan looks great but I’m really looking forward to Saif’s performance because he’s playing opposite me. I want to know if he will beat me and do it more convincingly because I have a feeling he will,” Madhavan told Bollywood Hungama.
The shooting of the neo-noir action thriller Vikram Vedha, which also stars Radhika Apte in a prominent role, wrapped up on Friday. The film, directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, began shooting in October 2021, covering various schedules in Abu Dhabi, Lucknow and Mumbai.
Talking about the experience of shooting with Hrithik and Saif, directors Pushkar and Gayathri said in a joint statement, “It was an exhilarating experience to shoot with our country’s leading superstars Hrithik and Saif. With our super talented and amazing team, we have been able to achieve what we envisioned at the script level. We can’t wait to show our film to the audience.”
The film is based on the Indian folk tale Vikram Aur Betal and is a gripping action crime thriller that tells the story of a tough cop who sets out to track down and hunt down a menacing gangster. The film is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films as it marks the return of two superstars collaborating in a high-octane action film after two decades.
