No Entry 2 POSTPONED? Salman Khan opts out of sequel; up to the throat of legal complications [Read Report]

Salman Khan’s fans were quite eager for No Entry 2. The blockbuster sequel was considered to be one of the superstar’s favorite projects. Recently we also heard that Anees Bazmee has prepared the script for No Entry 2. They were even supposed to start shooting early next year ie. 2023. But now it is being reported that Salman Khan and team have decided to postpone No Entry 2 altogether.

A source told Bollywood Hungama that Salman Khan is very keen on the project. He loved the script written by Anees Bazmee, which was meant to be a laugh riot. In fact, he thought it was one of the funniest scripts he’d read in a decade, according to the source. But multiple legal issues were a problem. The fact that Sahara One Motion Pictures is now a defunct company didn’t help. The source told the entertainment site that Salman Khan thought it would be easy to resolve the matter but it was too complicated.

The other problem was the steep rise in costs. It seems the team wanted to pay off everyone associated with the old film and acquire the rights. However, when they calculated all the costs, they went over budget. The source said that people close to Salman Khan feel that people may raise questions once this goes on floors. These were chances of a third party creating complications as the whole thing is not very transparent in the legal sense. This would increase the cost and budget of the film even more.

Salman Khan has finally decided to opt out of No Entry 2. The superstar is now looking at scripts to start a new film from January or February 2023. Anees Bazmee is also busy with his superhero comedy.
