No difference between Asaba, Lagos movies –Ify Eze

An actress, Ify Eze, has said there is no difference between movies made in Lagos and Asaba, as good movies can be made regardless of location.

Protesting the derogatory manner people view actors in the Asaba (Delta State) axis, she told Sunday Scoop, “I don’t believe in that discrimination.

“I believe we are all entertainers. So long as people are entertained by the movies, it does not matter whether they were made in Asaba or Lagos. There are people in Lagos who don’t make good movies, and there are people in Asaba who make great movies. One can add value wherever one is.”

The actress also stated that many top actors started their acting careers in the eastern part of the country before moving to Lagos. She said, “Many of the current top actors, such as Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic and Ramsey Nouah, started their careers in the east. They became stars in the east before moving to Lagos.”

Eze also admitted that many celebrities showcase fake lifestyles on social media. She said, “What we do is called showbiz. We have to give people something to talk about. That is why I advise people not to believe everything they see on social media, because many of them are fake.”

The actress also stated having sex before marriage does not determine whether a union would last or not. She said, “Marriage does not have a pattern. I am not against anybody having sex before marriage or not.”
