New mom Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi turns muse for Malaysian fashion show; netizens call it ‘Gangu craze’

Alia’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi turned out to be a success and now, a fashion show in Malaysia has taken inspiration from the actress’ look in the film. Yes, you read it right.

Her film Gangubai Kathiawadi made it to the fashion show in Malaysia where models walked the ramp dressed as Gangubai. The photos from the event have made it to social media and are going viral.

During Malaysia’s Northern Haute Couture Fashion Show 2022, models recreated Alia’s look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial. The models were seen wearing gown, owing to the actress’ white saree look teamed up with hair buns with red roses and black retro sunglasses. They completed their look with black bindis and bold red lips.
