Somehow, August is already halfway over which means fall is right around the corner. But no matter what you think of upcoming colder weather, the one good thing is that Netflix will continue to add new movies and shows to their lineup to get us through it all.
This week, the streaming service is adding a new drama/romance, a new season of an animated series, and the next film in a steamy movie franchise.
First up is Look Both Ways. The movie follows a young woman down two paths her life could take. If the pregnancy test she’s taking is positive, we get to see her life go one way and if it’s negative, her life is completely different. I’m sure there are many people who can relate to this scenario.
The movie hits Netflix on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 and stars Lili Reinhart, Danny Ramirez, Aisha Dee, Luke Wilson, Nia Long, Jaden Tolliver, Andrea Savage, and David Corenswet.
Take a look at the trailer here:
Part 2 of The Cuphead Show is also headed to Netflix this week on Friday, Aug. 19. The first part premiered in February 2022 so fans have had to wait six months for this second batch of episodes.
The animated series is based on the popular video game and follows the adventures of Cuphead and his brother Mugman. The brothers were just in jail thanks to their “friend” Chalice, but that doesn’t mean she’s out of their lives entirely or that they aren’t going to get into more shenanigans now that they’re free.

This week also brings The Next 365 Days. It hits Netflix on Friday, Aug. 19 and continues the erotic, steamy, and always problematic story of the 365 Days series. I have watched the last two movies so I’m judging no one.
The movies are based on a book series by Blanka Lipinski. This technically should be the last of the films since there are only three books in the series but with Netflix, you never know.
The movie will once again follow Laura and Mossimo as they continue their whirlwind romance. The last we saw of them, Laura was pregnant and had just gotten shot.
Based on the trailer, she survived but it doesn’t look like the baby did. Mossimo is going to be more protective than ever and Laura is going to fight him every step of the way.
Oh and Nacho is back which is going to cause all kinds of issues for the couple. And, of course, because this is 365 Days, there will be lots of sex scenes.
