1. Argentina, 1985 – Amazon Prime Video
Santiago Mitre’s movie Argentina, 1985 has been selected as Argentina’s entry in the Best International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards. The plot of the film is based on the true events of the trial of Juntas that resulted in the end of the military dictatorship in the country.
2. The Peripheral – Amazon Prime Video
The upcoming sci-fi series revolves around a woman, who unknowingly ends up discovering secrets of an alternate world, putting herself and the people around her in danger.
3. Four More Shots Please! 3 – Amazon Prime Video
One of the most-watched Indian shows on the platform, Four More Shots Please!, is all set to return with another season this Friday. With actresses Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo reuniting once again, get ready for another entertaining ride that revolves around friendships, relationships and careers.
4. Sardar – Theatre
Karthi fans are in for a treat as the actor will play a dual role in his upcoming Tamil spy-thriller Sardar. Meanwhile, the plot of the movie focuses on the life of a spy, who had to separate from his family for their safety. But years later, he ends up meeting his son, who is a police officer now.
5. Monster – Theatre
South superstar Mohanlal plays a Punjabi character on the big screen for the first time. In addition to the 62-year-old actor, the upcoming crime thriller will also mark Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu’s Malayalam debut.
6. Padavettu – Theatre
Gear up for an action-filled weekend as Nivin Pauly and Aditi Balan’s Padavettu is all set to arrive in theatres this Friday. The plot of the film revolves around the struggles of an oppressed section, who go against the odds to gain their rightful place in society.
7. Ori Devuda – Theatre
Mithali Palkar is all set to make her Telugu debut with Ori Devuda. Helmed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the upcoming movie is a remake of the Tamil movie Oh My Kadavule, and also stars Vishwank Sen in a pivotal role.
8. Bimbisara – ZEE5
Starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Catherine Tresa, the upcoming Telugu movie which is all set to arrive on ZEE5, revolves around Trigarta emperor Bimbisara and the conspiracy that lands in today’s modern world. Will he succeed in returning back to his original timeline?
