From the first few minutes of the show, you know that the tone is light-hearted, and you don’t need an investigative mind to watch it. It’s mostly predictable, but it adds an entertaining edge to crime drama. The first episode takes a while to hook you in, but once Varun dies from a chemical overdose, the show quickly picks up speed as new developments emerge in each episode.

On paper, the storyline seems interesting and novel. But the show falls flat as it tries hard to spruce up the story with comic punches that don’t land. Yes, the episodes end in cliffhangers, with twists and turns every now and then, leaving you wanting for more. But overall, the story never reaches a high.
