Shahid Kapoor recalls his first meeting with Mira Rajput
Recently in an interview with Mid-Day, Shahid Kapoor shared that he was a little embarrassed to meet Mira for the first time. He reveals that Meera was around 20 and he was 34, so he felt a bit embarrassed. She felt she was really young. However, he was happy to meet her and bond. Shahid reveals that when Mira met him, she was not affected by the fact that he was an actor. And that blew him away. She was only 20 and not at all interested in his profession and was very normal. “It wasn’t a major factor for her, and I think that’s what I long for. I crave normalcy. Because I’m always surrounded by people who see me as a star first, you want to have a normal personal life,” he said.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput welcomed a baby girl in 2016, a year after their wedding. Misha will be 7 next month. They welcomed a baby boy, Zayn, in September 2018. Mira continues to share adorable posts with all three of them.
