November is here, and it’s time for Wonderwall.com to weigh in on all of the celebrity fall fashion so far! Hello, Mariska Hargitay! For the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7, the beauty opted for this stunning Christian Siriano gown complete with plenty of drama thanks to a mermaid-style skirt that flowed into mounds of tulle. If the skirt wasn’t dreamy enough, the long-sleeved bodice and unique asymmetrical neckline elevated this look every further.

Almost, but not quite! Though we appreciated Taylor Swift’s departure from her usual style, we weren’t sold by this David Koma custom piece she wore to the MTV Europe Music Awards in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Nov. 13. The spaghetti-strap bodysuit worn underneath a gemstone-embellished sheer net skirt just wasn’t a hit in our books, though it did fit in amongst some other wild fashion at the annual show.

Alexandra Daddario looked like a goddess in this Dior haute couture gown as she arrived at the 2022 Guggenheim International Gala in New York City on Nov. 9. From the unique pale shade to the delicate embroidery throughout, this look plucked right from the runway wowed on the red carpet.

Sorry, Kerry Washington. We couldn’t get behind this funky minidress from Vera Wang the actress wore to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7. The ruffled blazer-style selection included the bizarre addition of hanging garters — we weren’t fans of this edgy look. Simple Stuart Weitzman sandals rounded out the getup.
_
Claire Danes wowed at the New York City premiere of “Fleishman Is In Trouble” on Nov. 7 in this stunning custom Zac Posen design. We loved the unique neckline with its three points of interest and the way the frock flowed effortlessly behind her on the red carpet.
_
Bored of Kim Kardashian in Balenciaga? Us too! The star’s all-black look from the brand, complete with the gloves, felt like something we’ve seen one too many times and completely underwhelmed amongst a sea of more fascinating looks at the 2022 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5.
_
We’re not usually into gloves, but this look from Anya Taylor-Joy showed the right way to rock the accessory. The star stepped onto the red carpet for the London premiere of her film “The Menu” on Nov. 9 in this bright blue Alexander McQueen frock that included a corset-style bodice and a fun asymmetrical ruffled skirt. Matching gloves and sky-high pointy-toe heels took this bold frock to the next level.
_
The MTV Europe Music Awards always bring out some wacky fashion, so the getup that Bebe Rexha wore to the show in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Nov. 13, wasn’t a huge shock. The songstress donned a Ban Binch Tongtong turtleneck jumpsuit, complete with bold structural elements, in a vibrant blue shade that landed among the misses this month.
_
Here’s some serious holiday party inspiration! Diane Kruger attended the 19th Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco on Nov. 12 in this elaborate shimmering gown from Givenchy. It included a turtleneck, long sleeves and a floor-length skirt all dripping in textured embellishments for a standout look.
_
Only Gigi Hadid could pull this look off… but that doesn’t mean she should. The star arrived at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7 in this Thom Browne ensemble that mixed plaids, stripes and tweed — all over top a cropped white blouse. High socks and pointy-toe boots plus a funky blue lip shade rounded out this look.
_
An example of how not to wear gloves? Look no further than the horrendous outfit Olivia Wilde wore to the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5. The actress-director selected a chevron-patterned Gucci gown with thin straps and dazzling sequined embellishments but eclipsed the beautiful frock with those ridiculous red patent leather gloves.
_
Rita Ora’s slinky see-through frock actually landed among our hits this month. The solo spaghetti strap, the off-the-shoulder detailing and the sheer silhouette made a statement on the red carpet at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Nov. 8, making the Jacquemus La Robe Draggiu pick one of our favorite barely-there gowns of late.
_
That’s a whole lot of red! Though we appreciate Zooey Deschanel’s commitment to the holiday season, the sheer amount of draping and pleating plus the oversized bow on this cheery red Nina Ricci design lost us when the actress hit the red carpet at the Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood on Nov. 12 in this look.
_
Next up is an embarrassing case of two stars wearing the same dress! Kelsea Ballerini tapped Balenciaga for her look at the 2022 CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 9, selecting this highlighter blue gown by the fashion house. Unfortunately, we weren’t wild about this frock that featured gloved long sleeves and a dramatic train — plus another star arrived with a slightly different take on the same dress that we liked better…
_
We preferred MacKenzie Porter’s electric blue Balenciaga 2022 CMA Awards gown, which was nearly identical to Kelsea Ballerini’s Balenciaga pick for the Nov. 9 awards show in Nashville. But unlike the glove component of Kelsea’s design, MacKenzie’s long-sleeved frock brought the right amount of elegance to the red carpet and felt plenty dressy thanks to the lengthy train.
_
Obsessed! Zoey Deutch donned a youthful Coach minidress with Mary Janes for the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7. The sweet short-sleeved design featured pops of cheery yellow with its floral embroidery and ruffled hemline.
_
At the 2022 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5, the ladies weren’t the only ones in bold ensembles. Andrew Garfield took a fashion risk in this Gucci velvet suit covered in floral embellishments. Let’s take a closer look…
_
Though we loved the unique detailing on his Gucci getup, we didn’t love how Andrew Garfield paired it with a yellow dress shirt.
_
Christina Ricci’s Rodarte gown wasn’t one of our favorites this month, mainly thanks to the unnecessary keyhole cutout and oversized floral details at the shoulders. The actress wore this disappointing pick to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7.
_
Kate Holmes embraced a flapper vibe in a Jonathan Simkhai fringed silver frock at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7. Her crystal-covered net gown would have fit in perfectly at a themed party, but we’re just not sure it was right for this night.
_
Salma Hayek finally got it right! We’re used to putting her on the miss list month after month, but we have to admit we enjoyed this Gucci pick she wore to the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5. We loved the subtle ombre and the color choices on this thin-strapped design that combined greens, golds and pale pinks before flowing into a lace-trimmed hem. We’ll even excuse the addition of those sheer matching gloves!
_
Kimberly Schlapman scored a fashion miss at the 2022 CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 9, picking this awfully busy pale pink strapless number. From the belt to the unfortunate embroidery, a lot was happening on this dress and the elbow-length gloves really didn’t help matters.
_
We’ve loved Amanda Seyfried’s style choices of late, and this Michael Kors Collection look was no exception. The combo the actress wore to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7 included an asymmetrical bodysuit paired with sheer wide-legged pants, which was a surprising choice for the star. A chunky belt and a wide gold bangle served as accessories while a bright red lip and wavy hair style completed this standout ensemble.
_
It was Selena Gomez’s night at the Hollywood premiere of her documentary “Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me” on Nov. 2… so we wish she would have picked a better dress. Instead, the star arrived in this boring one-shouldered Rodarte design. The silky frock included a bow detail at the shoulder and one tiny strap, but other than that lacked personality. Her shoes, on the other hand, were worthy of her documentary premiere: stunning pointy-toe pumps that even Cinderella would envy — crystal-studded heels from the brand Paris Texas.

An off-the-shoulder sparkly jumpsuit? Sign us up! We’re really crushing on Jennifer Hudson’s Greta Constantine one-piece look, which she rocked with a cool messy updo, pointy-toe pumps and bold blue nails at the 2022 Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City on Nov. 1.
_
We weren’t wild about Nina Dobrev’s Dior pick at the 2022 Guggenheim International Gala in New York City on Nov. 9. The silk gown included an all-over pattern that felt overwhelming, and despite the prints in tans and browns, she strangely opted to add black pumps.
_
Grace Van Patten served up some monochromatic glam in emerald green Tom Ford at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Nov. 7. She rocked it with the hood up, lending a casual vibe to the zip-up jacket and fitted tapered skirt with a slit. Matching pumps completed this killer look.
_
Though it’s rare, every now and then Kate Moss serves up a fashion miss. Her showing at WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Awards in New York City on Nov. 2 is one such example — just look at this bizarre hooded dress from Saint Laurent. Though hoods are certainly having a moment, this muted green pick crafted from sheer fabric lost us.
_
Janelle Monae’s Gucci pick for the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 5 was one of our favorites of the month — just check out all that detailing! From the dual-toned cream and black top half to the sequins, feathers and chains to the accessories — layered pearls and a sweet embellished clutch — we loved every inch of this one.
_
We usually love a good velvet red carpet moment, but the Louis Vuitton mini that Sophie Turner wore to the Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City on Nov. 1 missed the mark. The long-sleeved selection included a high neck and a super-short skirt, but something about the cut didn’t work with such a winter-ready fabric. Red knee-high leather boots from the brand didn’t help matters, making this feel more costume-like than couture.
_
We adored the Emilia Wickstead coordinates that Nicola Coughlan wore to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Nov. 8. The “Bridgerton” beauty rocked a long-sleeved crop top with an inverted neckline with a matching ankle-length full skirt all in the same textured, rich black fabric. Sealing the deal on this sweet look? Those amazing pumps!
