Celebs accepting Swiggy orders
The social media presence of food aggregators has grown to new levels in the past few years.
Besides engaging audiences with informative content about food, the companies also share a wide range of funny content on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
According to reports, the service delivered more than 5 crore orders in three cities in 2022.
In the seventh edition of Swiggy’s annual trends, the company shared a list of strange things that customers searched for in Instamart.
Petrol was searched 5981 times, underwear was searched 8810 times, mommy was searched 7275 times, the sofa was searched 20653 times, bed was searched 23432 times
This week, the food ordering and delivery platform shared a hilarious clip of a man mimicking celebrities while accepting food orders
The video was shared jointly by Swiggy and content creator Jagjyot Singh, the man who mimics the celebrities.
The short reel starts with Jagjyot doing an impression of Varun Dhawan’s left-cheek smirk while accepting the first order.
He then goes on to mimic Kartik Aaryan, John Abraham, Ranveer Singh, and Guru Randhawa accepting their food orders.
The funny thing about the John Abraham impression is that Jagjyot stuffed two round objects on his sleeves to resemble the actor’s big biceps.

The reel was posted with the caption: “Can you guess what these celebs must have ordered?”
The on-point mimicry has now earned praise from Instagrammers. The video has over 1.3 million views and over 1.66 lakh likes.
