Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Secretary slams Telugu heroes

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Muthyala Ramesh has come down hard on Telugu bigwigs, criticizing them for their “fake collections and high remuneration”, no doubt taking a dig at Ram Charan, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu, whose fees continue to rise but collections they either keep falling or false numbers are reported. “Only heroes are happy with their high rewards and fake collections. Mutyala Ramesh also cited how OTT is ruining several exhibitors (theatre owners) and distributors, a sentiment echoed by Exhibitors Sector Chairman TS Ram Prasad. Both urged producers to extend the OTT release window of their films, with some big players making their way onto digital platforms so soon, no doubt due to their poor theatrical performances.
