PONNIYIN SELVAN: I

Ponniyin Selvan, a 1955 book by Kalki Krishnamurthy, served as the inspiration for Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece. Mani Ratnam co-wrote the sweeping historical drama with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan. Produced by Ratnam and Subaskaran Allirajah under Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, the movie is the first of two parts. The film’s music, which was composed by A. R. Rahman, is outstanding. When it was released in 2022, the movie shattered a number of box office records, becoming the fourth-highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time and the highest-grossing Tamil movie of the year. On November 4, 2022, Amazon Prime Video will start to provide the movie.

JAI BHIM:

The T. J. Gnanavel-directed legal drama movie, featuring Suriya, Lijomol Jose, and Manikandan in key roles, will be released in 2021. Under the banner of 2D Entertainment, Jyothika and Suriya produced it. In supporting roles, the movie also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, and others. The play examines police prejudice and governmental violence against a marginalised community based on a real-life occurrence in 1993. The movie received unmatched accolades from critics after its direct release on Amazon Prime Video.

VIKRAM:

Lokesh Kanagaraj is the writer and director of the action thriller movie from 2022, which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil play important roles in the movie as well. The movie’s supporting cast includes Chemban Vinod Jose, Narain, and Kalidas Jayaram. Suriya makes a brief cameo appearance in the thriller. Raaj Kamal Films International is the producer. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer and soundtrack for the movie. The movie became the second-highest-grossing Tamil movie of the year and a huge box-office hit. It is accessible on ZEE5, Hotstar, and Disney+.

SOORARAI POTTRU:

Sudha Kongara wrote and directed the Tamil drama starring Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, and Paresh Rawal. Producing the movie in 2020 there will be Suriya, Jyothika, and Guneet Monga. Mohan Babu, Urvashi, and Karunas all play significant supporting parts in the movie. It was influenced by experiences G. R.
