Lana was one of the most popular female roster members amongst the WWE Universe in the 2010s. Despite the lack of wrestling skills, she managed to find TV screen space on a regular basis until her release in mid-2021. She was one of the very few superstars who got to perform on WWE TV before getting released from the contract, all of a sudden.

Lana enjoyed her dream job in WWE for 8 long years (including NXT), from 2013 to 2021. Since her let-go, she hasn’t appeared in any other wrestling company although she admitted to being open to going to any wrestling promotion other than WWE. Her husband Miro (fka Rusev in WWE) works in AEW and the popular belief is that she would eventually join him at All Elite Wrestling.

Future will tell whether that happens or not but in the meantime, Lana continues to please her fans by featuring on her own website and offering some premium content to them. The policy violation act is intact for the website but several photos of the former Ravishing Russian have gone viral on the internet. To see more of them you may click on this link.

Lana’s website could be the reason WWE may not re-hire her

The situation is similar to that of Mandy Rose where her private photos from FanTime were spread on the internet. WWE Officials were shocked to find one of the contracted talents to go full non-PG and this ended up causing her release. Based on that, it’s safe to say that they’d not be willing to bring back Lana is not she decides to tone things down on her personalized website.

Lana started in the WWE as a valet for Rusev in the early 2010s but down the road, she proved her potential to become a wrestler. At one point, she and Asuka were planned to win Women’s Tag Team Titles but that never became a reality. While being a guest on the In The Kliq podcast, she expressed her will to move back to WWE but under current circumstances, the chances are low.

“I’m open to everything in life,. If I put my dreams in a box, I wouldn’t be where I am today. So, I mean, Triple H, he’s a genius. Stephanie [McMahon]’s a genius. I got hired by Triple H. He paired me with Miro and helped really cultivate that, in 2014, that story and that gimmick and those characters. He really helped me develop the Ravishing Russian, so I think he has an incredible creative mind,” said the real-life CJ Perry.
