Revealing what ails Bollywood in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Pallavi said that although she is not an expert and can’t talk about films that didn’t work, she can definitely answer why her film worked, citing that the audience realized the intent she and the team pulled into the theme and their performances and emphasized that people identify with honest artists. She also added that today’s bollywood movies are not a mirror of the Indian society today and hence people cannot relate to them.
