Bipasha Basu and her husband Karan Singh Grover recently announced that they are all set to welcome their first bundle of joy. The 43-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a bunch of photos from her pregnancy shoot. While Bipasha was enjoying the best phase of her life, Karan has now expressed his feelings about his wife’s pregnancy journey and embracing fatherhood.
“It’s a combination of many feelings. All new, but somehow familiar…not familiar like I’ve done this before, but more like I’ve felt it in my most precious, most beautiful dream, like it’s almost embedded in my DNA. an intense one that I didn’t bring to the outer surface of my being because I was afraid I would explode into fireworks made of joy,” Karan wrote.
He continued: “When we found out we were pregnant and we were going to be blessed with a little… tiny version of us, a little little monkey, what I feared happened. Every cell of my being explodes with love and joy. I never imagined the feeling would be this strong, I couldn’t fully understand it and it was definitely not something I could control. It’s been the exact same feeling every minute of every day since. Every step of the way, witnessing what a lady goes through during this time, simply witnessing the endless, unspoken, unexpressed and sometimes unnoticed hardships she goes through to make this unfathomable miracle happen inside of her… it’s only to me the truest explanation of what unconditional love is, what god is, what creator is. I just find myself wondering in the chaos of these months how come we don’t all just talk about this all the time?”
“I feel like I’m constantly changing, constantly trying to figure out how to make things better and make myself better. I am constantly in a state of gratitude just to witness this miracle of a woman creating life within her and making it seem like it’s all just part of her day. I think I was just waiting to put what I felt into words,” he concluded.
Bipasha met Karan on the sets of Alone in 2015. The two got married in 2016. The actress previously dated actor John Abraham, while Karan was previously married to Shraddha Nigam and Jennifer Winget.
