Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, currently busy with his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, recently joined the popular social media platform Threads introduced by Meta. The director took part in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, where fans and followers flooded him with questions.

During the AMA session held on Saturday, fans were eager to know about Karan’s future projects. One user inquired about a movie with Salman Khan, to which Karan responded with a mysterious “Hmmmmmmmmmm.” Another user asked about the possibility of a sequel to the iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, but Karan chose to withhold a concrete reply, leaving fans guessing.
Regarding his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, a follower asked if Karan would make a cameo appearance, to which Karan replied, “No I want the film to be a success.” When asked about his favourite film that he made, Karan chose Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead. One curious fan sought advice from Karan on becoming a filmmaker at the age of 20, to which Karan said, “Don’t listen to naysayers ! It’s possible so believe manifest and be educated in film before you deep Dive into it.” Furthermore, when asked if he had any plans to launch his own fashion line, Karan excitedly responded with, “I am!!!!!!”
For the unversed Meta, the parent company of the renowned social media platform Facebook, has introduced a new application named Threads as a potential alternative to Twitter. This strategic move by Meta indicates their focus on catering to users who are looking for a distinct social media experience apart from Twitter, which is under the ownership of Elon Musk and has undergone several notable transformations in recent times.
