Kangana Ranaut often dominates the headlines for her controversial statements. However, Kangana recently praised the Pathaan actress for her presence at the Oscars 2023. To this, the netizens reacted shockingly as she has words of praise that she has dug in the past.
Kangana Ranaut responded to all the doubters with her comment about Deepika Padukone being the host at the 95th Academy Awards. She took to her Twitter to respond to everyone who acted shocked that she praised DP. Kangana wrote, “don’t exaggerate I am a very simple person just following Krishna/Dharma and he says kisi ko undeserved credit dena anachar hai lekin kisi ko deserving credit na dena usse bada anachar/paap hai. She further to the people of Bollywood stating “Bollywood may have failed but I am not”

After the Oscars 2023, Ranaut took to her Twitter handle and praised Deepika for making the nation proud. She wrote: “As beautiful as @deepikapadukone looks, it’s not easy standing there holding the entire nation together, carrying her image and reputation on those delicate shoulders and speaking so graciously and confidently. Deepika stands tall as a testament to the fact that Indian women are the best.”
Well, this is not the first time Kangana Ranaut has praised a Bollywood celebrity. In the past, she has been appreciative of her female colleagues. She credits Vidya Balan with the change in Hindi cinema with Kahaani and the industry got the opportunity to make films like Queen and Piku. She also defended Raveena Tandon when a journalist mocked her. She also praised Sonakshi Sinha calling her talented for doing better in films.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her ambitious project Emergency. She will essay the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in a film based on Emergency moment that happened in 1975. Emergency marks her soulful directorial project after Manikarnika. Apart from this, she has Tejas and Chandramukhi 2 in the pipeline.
