Kangana Ranaut claims Akshay Kumar’s film grossed Rs 10 crore but doesn’t see anyone ‘mocking or harassing’ her

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s selfie hit the marquee today. The beginning of the movie was quite disappointing. Selfiee is said to have earned around Rs 2.25 crore on the first day. This was reported by some portals. We’ll have a clearer idea by tomorrow morning. Kangana Ranaut posted an Insta story claiming that Selfiee earned Rs 10 lakh on the first day. She has been compared as the male version of Akshay Kumar. Kangana Ranaut wrote that despite his film getting such a low start, no one mocked or harassed him. Kangana Ranaut said that while she took the name Karan Johar, no one mentioned it and she only took the name of the actor associated with the project. Selfiee is a remake of a Malayalam film. The story is about the relationship between a superstar and a fan. The movie will need really good word of mouth to gain momentum. Some fans feel that Akshay Kumar should stop doing remakes and take a break. The superstar worked in a number of remakes during this lockdown period.
