Kajol is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film Salaam Venky. Based on real incidents, Salaam Venky traces the journey of a mother in fulfilling the dreams of her son who has a chronic illness. Directed by Revathy, Salaam Venky also stars a cameo by Aamir Khan. Slated to release in the theatres on December 9, Salaam Venky also stars Vishal Jethwa in the lead role. Kajol is currently busy with the promotions of the film in full swing. Kajol, a day back, shared a picture of herself relaxing on a couch of sorts and gave us all kinds of chill vibes. The picture features a page from her promotion diaries of Salaam Venky, where Kajol, in the middle of her promotion duties, can be seen soaking in the weekend vibes. The actor kickstarted the weekend on a chill high as she relaxed on a couch and shared with her fans her mood and pose for the weekend. However, it was her kaftan that got us drooling. Kajol, to start the weekend in style, opted for a black satin kaftan gown as she slayed it. The kaftan gown featured a V-neckline decorated in maroon zari details and silver mirrorwork. Featuring puffy full sleeves, the kaftan came with floral details in multiple colours. Kajol further accessorised her look for the day in contrasting bright red bangles in one hand.

Kajol looked pretty as ever in statement silver earrings and a silver finger ring. The actor wore her tresses open in wavy curls with a middle part as she smiled with all her heart for the camera. In minimal makeup, Kajol aced the look to perfection. The actor decked up in nude eyeshadow, black eyeliner, black kohl, mascara-laden eyelashes, drawn eyebrows, contoured cheeks and a shade of nude lipstick, Kajol gave us all kinds of fashion goals.
