JEAN MOIR: As Prince faces more gracious interviewers, the 20 questions our interviewer would ask…

Over the next few days, Prince Harry will undergo a round of TV interviews to support his bombshell autobiography, Spare. The shows in the UK and America will be hosted by hand-picked presenters who are likely to be broadly sympathetic to his cause – but will they get to the heart of royal matters? Here are the 20 questions Ian Moir wants Harry to answer. . .

1 Harry, have you ever done anything wrong in your life or is it always someone else’s fault?

2 Which royal expressed concern about Archie’s skin color and why didn’t you mention it again in six hours of Netflix documentary and hundreds of pages of your book? And can you explain the puzzling inconsistencies in the accounts of this event that you and Megan have given?

She told Oprah that she had “a few conversations.” You told Oprah “this conversation I’ll never share,” meaning there’s only one comment. Who, if anyone, is telling the truth?

3 Congratulations on losing your virginity in the field to an “old woman” who treated you “like a stud.” Does that mean she supplied you with quality hay and a salt block? Or is there another connotation in these words? Actually, please don’t tell us. We just can’t take it anymore.

4 Do you have any sympathy for dear Elizabeth Hurley, who was moved to state publicly that the “old woman” in question was not her? Or do you believe the bikini entrepreneur is still screwing with a top girl who may be protesting too much, but you can’t remember anyway because you were on drugs and talking to a bikini the other night?

5 This is important, please concentrate. Meghan told a television audience of millions that her son Archie had been denied a royal title against protocol, also citing “concerns and talk about how dark his skin might be when he’s born”.

It is likely that she has not grasped the ins and outs of complex royal protocols and hereditary titles. But you understand this world too well. Why did you never correct her provocative assumption?

6 For that matter, why don’t you and your family do the decent thing and give up your royal titles? Your Royal Highness, if I may be so bold, you profess to detest the institution and all it stands for – so why not divest yourself of such a visible connection with it?

7 One thing that puzzles everyone. Right from the start, you and Meghan claimed to be dedicated working members of the royal family. Yet it has now emerged that you negotiated contracts with Netflix and kept footage from day one. Was Megxit a financial strategy and a foregone conclusion?

8 Which of the following do you think best describes you?

a) pity

b) vindictive

c) a little dark

d) a proud Taliban killer

e) loving brother and son

f) someone who often says “yes dear”.

9 Was it wise, Private Pike, to reveal that you killed 25 members of the Taliban in Afghanistan?

10 Speaking of bad guys, how can you justify your comment that your family “want to treat us like villains”? Especially when they have maintained a dignified silence in the face of the storm of accusations and insults you have recently hurled at them?

11 Can you explain why Meghan told Oprah that when she was pregnant with your son she had suicidal thoughts, “didn’t want to be alive” and believed she wasn’t allowed to seek professional help for her mental health crisis?

Considering you had a personal therapist on speed dial at the time, and you did call that person immediately after a physical altercation with your brother.

Is there some secret royal law that says you, the prince, must indeed have sessions with a therapist, but his wife shouldn’t?

12 You and Megan have spoken at length about your “fundamental right to privacy.” Fair, but why did you so brutally invade the personal space of others? Was it fair, for example, to reveal that the king, in the hours after his own father’s burial, was wearily urging you and your brother not to spoil his last years with fighting?

13 Do you think the King will ever forgive you for revealing that you and William begged him not to marry Camilla because you believed she would make a “wicked stepmother”?

14 Which of the following do you think best describes the Princess of Wales?

a) some baby brain

b) the sister I never had

c) a wife who fits the royal mold

d) Ms. Arc-Nemesis

e) kinda scary, tbh

JEAN MOIR: Over the next few days, Prince Harry will undergo a round of television interviews to support his bombshell autobiography, Spare. The shows in the UK and America will be hosted by hand-picked presenters who are likely to be broadly sympathetic to his cause – but will they get to the heart of royal matters?

15 A big flashpoint came when William told you Meghan was “difficult and rude” to staff. You illogically accused your brother of accepting the “press story” on this matter, even though he must have experienced first and second hand accounts of her behavior.

Have you stopped at any point to ask yourself if there might be some truth to what he is saying? Or do you believe that St. Megan of Montecito can do no wrong?

16 You say you’ve always been in competition with your brother, who you call your “nemesis.” Yet, like you, William did not choose his destiny, nor to be heir to the throne.

You understand his position better than most, so why choose betrayal over supporting him?

17 You claim that because of your privileged upbringing you had no idea that the word “P***” was a racial slur. And also that those rotten William and Kate encouraged you to wear a Nazi uniform to a mass party.

Yet you were 20 years old and an officer cadet at Sandringham when these things happened – when will you properly take responsibility for both your shortcomings and your strengths?

18 You’ve never met your father-in-law Thomas Markle, who is now shunned by you and Meghan for talking to the press. Yet what you’ve done—Oprah, Netflix, autobiography, TV interviews—is a thousand times more invasive and inflammatory.

You say family is important to you – but you’re kinder to your rescue chickens than to Thomas, a lonely old man in poor health. Isn’t it time we finally meet him, forgive him and introduce him to his little grandchildren before it’s too late?

19 Despite your claims to the contrary, you have been invited to Sandringham for Christmas and the King has made it clear he wants you and Meghan to attend his coronation – but you refuse to say whether you will. How does this square with your stated belief that the royal family “shows no desire for reconciliation?”

20 Harry, at Spare you spare no one’s blushes but your own. Is that one and done? Or should we all brace ourselves for Spare 2: Now Meghan Has Her Say?

You don’t need to answer. I think we all know the horrible answer to that.
