Jaya Bachchan in her recent chat with granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda opened up like never before and left many surprised. Usually, Jaya Bachchan has this angry woman image when she goes out on the town and is covered by the paparazzi. But she’s a cool grandma. Talking to Navya, she revealed one thing that annoys her about her beloved husband Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. She called him the grumpy old man and reportedly told Navia, “Your grandma is like, he’s the nastiest. He will say “I have to go up, excuse me ladies. If you don’t mind’ and something like that. they are very happy that he is not there.”. Well, we didn’t expect this to come. Thank you Navya for this chat!
When she further told Nani Jaya Bachchan that maybe her Nanu will become conscious, to which she got the hilarious reply, “He is not conscious. They have known him for centuries, but now he has changed. He is also old. You know you can be old, and you can be old, but not old.” while Naya teased her Nani, who was along with her mother Shweta Bachchan on the chat show, about being a young adult, to which Jaya Bachchan deflected and said, “Come on, I’m not an (old old person). I can sit and talk to an 18-year-old”. While Navya agreed and said that her nani is not a nagging old lady at all. Clearly, this Jaya Bachchan is the complete opposite of the media and we love her.
In the chat show Shweta also revealed many interesting facts while in one of her interviews Shweta said that she is not finally independent but her daughter will be and Navya is currently becoming the youngest entrepreneur in India with her amazing work in NGOs and more.
