Janhvi Kapoor has been hitting the headlines ever since she stunned everyone with her drastic transformation. She often grabs eyeballs for her over-the-top fashion and breaks the internet in half. However, she is often called out by netizens for wearing risqué clothing and sometimes for her quotes that make headlines. Actress Millie has now opened up about how the sensational headlines feel.
Speaking to The Indian Express, Janhvi said that though she understands the fact that negativity sells and that’s why some headlines are being made about her. She said she’s confused by some of the headlines that come out even after what appears to be an honest interaction becomes an opportunistic way for someone to twist it a certain way.
Janhvi feels that everyone is trying to do their job, but unfortunately people are rewarded in this profession for spending too much time running negative headlines, which most of them think is what sells. Now, though, she’s not bothered by it and seems to be used to thinking that this is the world we’re in now.
After making her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, Janhvi worked in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Roohi and most recently Good Luck Jerry. She will next be seen in her upcoming thriller Mili, where she will be seen trapped in a freezer. The film is an official remake of Helen starring Nayanthara, directed by the same director Mathukutty Xavier and produced by Boney Kapoor.
