Phoenix is hiring for several positions in its street transportation department and is holding a hiring event Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Maryvale Community Center and Park, 4420 N. 51st Ave.
The session will be held from 1 to 5 p.m
The department is looking to fill a variety of open positions that include street maintenance workers, cement finishers and sales assistants, according to a release.
“These jobs offer opportunities for career growth, excellent benefits and competitive salaries,” city officials said.

No experience is required to apply for the positions, and those who qualify will receive a one-day interview. Those interested in applying are encouraged to bring a resume, according to the release.
