Phoenix is hiring for several positions in its street transportation department and is holding a hiring event Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Maryvale Community Center and Park, 4420 N. 51st Ave.
The session will be held from 1 to 5 p.m
The department is looking to fill a variety of open positions that include street maintenance workers, cement finishers and sales assistants, according to a release.
“These jobs offer opportunities for career growth, excellent benefits and competitive salaries,” city officials said.
“City of Phoenix employees enjoy 12.5 paid vacation days, 12 vacation days and 15 sick and personal leave days, low-cost health plans, wellness incentives and a retirement program.”
No experience is required to apply for the positions, and those who qualify will receive a one-day interview. Those interested in applying are encouraged to bring a resume, according to the release.
