Mouni Roy and her husband Suraj Nambiar opened their first restaurant Badmaash in Andheri in Mumbai on 26th May. The couple threw a party just days after the restaurant opened to celebrate the joyous event. The grand launch was attended by some prominent B-town celebrities including Disha Patani, Tejasswi Prakash and her partner Karan Kundrra, Ankita Lokhande and Mandira Bedi. Badmaash’s official Instagram handle has all the details you need about the luxury restaurant in Mumbai. It claims to serve “authentic Bollywood vibes, Indian cuisine and a side of mixed masaladar”. The interiors of Badmaash are heavily inspired by the wild rainforests. When you step inside, your eyes will see several posters, paintings and figurines of tigers. There is no shortage of greenery, with plenty of potted plants on the floors, walls and even ceilings. Away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, Badmaash welcomes you with a warm vibe adorned with soft yellow lights. While some areas boast beautiful pink embroidered hanging lanterns, in other regions the lights are fixed among the leaves of the trees. From stamped and rusted chairs to regal velvet-green sofas, everything boasts earthy tones. There are hints of faded browns, terracotta reds and soothing shades of green. The color palettes are well-chosen to provide customers with a sense of tranquility that can take them away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A special cocktail drink called Pushpa 3 named after Allu Arjun’s iconic film is available. The drink is served only on high tables and bar counters. Why? Because “Pushpa kisi ke liye nahi jhukta.” Some mouth-watering Indian cuisines you must try include Chicken Tikka, Olive and Curd Zaatar Kebabs, Fried Mushroom Milagu and Moplah Chicken Biryani.

Mouni Roy recently released some pictures on Instagram from the premises of Badmaash. Dressed in a graphic print dress with a knotted gray skirt, she shared her happiness at the restaurant’s opening. “Overflowing with joy and culinary delights as our new restaurant opens its doors…!” the actress wrote.

Mooney will next be seen in the horror comedy The Virgin Tree. Helmed by debutant director Siddhant Sachdev, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Palak Tiwari in important roles. Muni was last seen in Brahmastra. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
