Hrithik Roshan is currently gearing up for the premiere of his upcoming action thriller Vikram Vedha opposite Saif Ali Khan. Along with this, the Greek god of Bollywood has been offered Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra 2 to play the role of Dev in the sci-fi flick. However, Hrithik politely turned down Brahmastra 2 and opted for Krish 4 and Ramayana instead.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik has already been packed with two VFX heavy films, Krrish 4 and Ramayana. Participating in Brahmastra 2 would make Hrithik invest his time in another film with high visual effects. So he chose to let Brahmastra go. He also got his point across to Karan and Ayan when he turned down their film offer.
The team of Brahmastra is now looking for another actor who would be best suited for the role of Dev. The role is said to require a certain amount of aura, so it would be interesting to see who replaces Hrithik in the film.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt are on a promotional spree to ensure they find an audience for Brahmastra amid boycott calls. Director SS Rajamouli along with the team of Brahmastra were present in Hyderabad to promote the film. He heaped praise on the film’s cast and Ayan’s vision in making the film.
On the other hand, Hrithik recently revealed how the Lord Of The Rings franchise inspired his father Rakesh Roshan to create the Krrish franchise. It started with Koi… Mil Gaya followed by Krrish and then the franchise was rounded off with the third film titled Krrish 3.
