Entrepreneurs and those considering being an entrepreneur are invited to the event to learn more about the supports available to launch and grow a business, and network with like-minded individuals. Don’t forget to dig out your ugliest Christmas sweater for a chance to win a door prize valued at $100. The event is free. Pre-register online here.

Shop local this holiday season! The Porcupine Mall’s Craft and Vendor Show features local artisans, crafters and vendors with a variety of offerings — from baking, to handmade items, jewelry and accessories and more!

Rosewood Ave Christmas Concert 

Friday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.

Iroquois Falls Secondary School

The opening performances will be by the Iroquois Falls Community Choir and Step N Sound Studios before the duo takes the stage for a holiday concert. Tickets are available online here or by contacting Justice at 705-232-8580 or iroquoisfallsartscouncil@gmail.com.

Pet photos with Santa

Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Timmins Family YMCA, 376 Poplar Ave.

The Timmins and District Humane Society’s annual fundraiser is back. Bring your fur family to get a photo with Santa. The cost is $20 for one portrait sitting. Additional portrait sittings are $5 each. Bring a USB to save your photo.

Honouring the Past

Wednesday, Nov. 3 to Dec. 30

Timmins Museum: NEC, 325 Second Ave.

An exhibit by members of the Porcupine Art Club. It explores elements of the past in the community and of a more personal nature. The exhibit features work from 21 current members and work from past members Evelyn Rymer, Heili Ellefson and Doris Sturgeon.

Griefshare 

Runs Fridays until Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m.

Bible Fellowship Assembly and Zoom

People grieving the loss of a loved one can start at any time during the 13 weeks. Contact Ted Bendell at 705-360-0697 or email griefshare@bfa.church. This is a free service provided by the church. If it is of value to you, donations are welcomed towards Bible Fellowship Assembly.
