All clear for Kartik*s next

Director Rohit Dhawan*s remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, has been rated U/A by the Censor Board. Said to be about two hours and 25 minutes long, the family entertainer also features a recreated version of Salman Khan*s hit song, Character dheela, from Ready (2011). A series for Sikandar
Director Ram Madhvani, who is working on the third season of Aarya, recently expressed his desire to create a spin-off series on Sikandar Kher*s character, Daulat. The director said that he is deeply impressed by Sikandar*s restrained performance. “There is a certain sensitivity, hurt, vulnerability, emotion and guilt in Daulat – all of which came through without [him] saying anything; [instead], he emoted with his eyes,” said Ram. Stating that there is a Samurai quality to Daulat, the filmmaker added, “I want to make a film or series on Daulat alone.” He also shared that at some point, he would love to make a comedy centred on a Samurai character. Delighted with the idea, Sikandar encouraged him to put his plan into action. “The thought is amazing. It*s so spoofy and crazy. You will make a great comedy director since you laugh genuinely at things,” the actor said to the filmmaker.
