Bollywood actor and Anil Kapoor’s son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor has recently expressed his thoughts on the team selection for the ICC World Test Championship final. As the highly anticipated final continues at The Oval, Harsh shared his disappointment regarding Virat Kohli not leading the team as the captain. Rohit Sharma has been entrusted with the captaincy for the team’s match against Australia.

Harvarrdhan took to his Twitter account on Wednesday, and wrote, “Terrible tragedy that @imVkohli isn’t test captain anymore there is no intensity / hunger without him at the helm the players are passive and just going through the motions under Rohit… poor team selection also Ashwin had to play + Bumrah out through injury is a huge blow.”

Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor entered the world of acting in 2016 through Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film, Mirziya. However, the film did not fare well at the box office. He also had the opportunity to work alongside his father, Anil Kapoor, in the film Thar, which was released last year. Currently, Harsh has been devoting a significant amount of time to the Abhinav Bindra biopic, immersing himself in the project for quite a while now.
Earlier, Harsh had discussed his plan to release the film in 2024. ETimes had quoted him saying, “This year, we will shoot and edit the film. It should be out next year. It will be my first theatrical film after six years. My last release was Bhavesh Joshi Superhero in 2018. I want the Abhinav Bindra biopic to be a theatrical. I am very ambitious, and while films like Ray and Thar, which I have been a part of, are unique pieces (OTT releases), I believe that just because your films are not conventional, it doesn’t mean that they can’t make money. I refuse to believe that. I want to make a difference and do something about it. I feel this film will be an original piece of work and I have faith that if we end up executing what we have in our mind and heart, people will love it.”
