The Golden Globes are back, and the fashion’s better than ever.
Following last year’s lackluster awards show, if you can even call it that — there was no red carpet or celebrity guest list, and the ceremony was neither televised nor streamed — the Hollywood Foreign Press Association brought back its big, boozy shindig for 2023, controversy be damned.
And stars delivered big-time in the style department Tuesday night, hitting the carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles in looks that ranged from glittering gowns to avant-garde suits.
Below, check out our best-dressed picks from this year’s Globes — including Julia Garner in pretty pink Gucci, Selena Gomez in velvet Valentino, Sheryl Lee Ralph in sequined Aliétte and more.
Michelle Yeoh
With its sleek silhouette, midnight blue sequins, scattered silver embellishments and pretty peplum, the Best Actress winner’s Armani Privé gown was everything (everywhere, all at once).
Selena Gomez
The “Only Murders in the Building” nominee looked incredibly elegant in a velvet, voluminous-sleeved Valentino Haute Couture creation accessorized with a few well-placed De Beers diamonds and a sleek ponytail.
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Another vision in violet, the “Abbot Elementary” actress looked like royalty in her all-over-embellished Aliétte dress — which was styled by none other than the star’s daughter, Ivy Coco.
Tyler James Williams
Ralph’s “Abbott” co-star, who won Best Supporting Actor for his work on the ABC hit, cut the coolest figure in his slouchy pinstriped Amiri suit.
Julia Garner
Garner took home the Globe for her performance in “Ozark” wearing this gorgeous pink Gucci gown with crystal accents and a feminine, flouncy hem.
Jessica Chastain
The “George and Tammy” actress wove a dazzling web in Oscar de la Renta.
Jennifer Coolidge
Monica Vitti, is that you? The “White Lotus” winner looked equal parts sultry and sophisticated in her off-the-shoulder sequined Christian Siriano gown.
Ana de Armas
With its top-to-bottom pattern of silver studs, the “Blonde” nominee’s Louis Vuitton look must have been heavy — but de Armas made it look entirely effortless to wear.
Donald Glover
Also representing for the men was the “Atlanta” nominee in Saint Laurent, layering a double-breasted black tuxedo jacket over a white satin wrap robe and matching pants that looked as comfy as pajamas — but far more chic.
