This weekend is all about amazing new movies and shows. For those who enjoy a heartfelt movie that will stay with you forever, watch out for Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta starrer Goodbye. 1. GREY’S ANATOMY SEASON 19 – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR

Meredith Grey and a team of new doctors resume work at the Grey Sloan Memorial. The latest season will see new faces and some interesting cases. The series stars Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr, Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver.

​​2. MAJA MA – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

Along with Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, we also have Madhuri Dixit’s Maja Ma to watch this weekend. Pallavi is a perfect mom and wife. However, when a video of her goes viral, it starts a rumour that threatens to break her son Tejas’s engagement with an NRI girl who belongs to a wealthy family. 

3. CRIMINAL JUSTICE: ADHURA SACH (FINALE) –DISNEY+ HOTSTAR

When popular child artist Zara is killed, all the evidence points toward her stepbrother Mukul. It is now up to Madhav Mishra to find the truth and prove his innocence. The popular show stars Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Swastika Mukherjee, Purab Kohli, Aditya Gupta, Deshna Dugad and Gaurav Gera

4. THE MIDNIGHT CLUB – NETFLIX

After The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass, Mike Flanigan is back with yet another title that will give you goosebumps. The series is based on Christopher Pike’s writings and his popular novel of the same name. The mysterious and thrilling series sees eight terminally ill patients at Brightcliffe Hospice gathering every night, sharing scary and sinister stories. They also make a pact that whoever dies next would send others a sign from the afterlife. The series is created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong.

5. RAKSHA BANDHAN – ZEE5

This story is about the bond between a brother and his sisters that makes it a good family entertainer. Lala Kedarnath is the eldest brother of four sisters who promises his dying mother that he will only get married after getting his siblings settled. What follows next is his struggle to get them hitched while facing issues on the personal front as his childhood love Sapna is waiting for him. The movie features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar and is directed by Aanand L. Rai. This is one of the three big releases this weekend, with others being Godfather and Goodbye.

6. UNIKI – AHA VIDEO

The thriller features Ashish Gandhi, Chitra Shukla and others in the lead roles. 

7. AFTERSHOCK: EVEREST AND THE NEPAL EARTHQUAKE – NETFLIX

With authentic footage and testimonies, the documentary takes us into the reality of the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal in 2015.

8. KARTHIKEYA 2 – ZEE5

The mythological thriller sees the lead character setting out on an adventurous ride where he will discover facts about the Indian ancient system and some hidden secrets about Lord Sri Krishna. 

9. LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE – NETFLIX

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by American author Jessica Knoll, the movie sees Ani FaNelli living a dream life in New York until a true crime documentary from the past comes to haunt her. She is asked to share her side of the shocking event that took place at the elite Brentley School which questions the choices that she made when she was young,

10. HASAN MINHAJ: THE KING’S JESTER – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR

Hasan Minhaj is back and this time the comic will be telling stories about fertility, meeting Saudi officials, fatherhood and freedom of speech.

 11. GOODBYE – THEATRES 

The heartfelt drama around life and death shows the sudden death of Neena Gupta’s character and how her husband (played by Amitabh Bachchan) and children come together as a family to cope with grief and shock. The movie also marks Mandanna’s Bollywood debut. 

12. EXPOSED – DISNEY+ HOSTAR

Chaos starts when Varsha, a rising star with hidden intentions and motives challenges the well-established anchor Greeshma.

13. PREY – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR

The movie is set in the 1719’s Northern Great Plains of North America. The title is the fifth installment in the Predator franchise and a prequel to the first four films. It follows warrior Naru who has been trained under the best hunters. When a lethal Predator comes into the picture, she must go to extreme lengths to protect her tribe.

14. ORU THEKKAN THALLU CASE – NETFLIX

Action, revenge, ego clashes, fighting and more action – this movie is worth a watch.

15. TRICK OR TREAT SCOOBY DOO! – BOOKMYSHOWSTREAM

When menacing doppelgänger ghosts threaten Halloween, Scooby along with his friends should get into action and save the day. 

16. FEELS LIKE HOME SEASON 2 – LIONSGATE PLAY

We see how the four boys have finally learned to maintain the house and are trying to navigate through life, friendship and relationship complexities. 

17. INVISIBLE DEMONS – MUBI

The maker shows us the dramatic consequences of India’s growing economy. From crisis to climate realities, Invisible Demons gives us a must-needed reality check. 

18. JUMPING FROM HIGH PLACES – NETFLIX

A young woman with severe anxiety tries to fight her worst fear and find love in order to fulfill her friend’s last request.

19. GAALIPATA 2 – ZEE5

After finishing their studies, a group of friends reunites to help their teacher when she is ill. They strive to come up with a fix for their love life.

20. MR HARRIGAN’S PHONE – NETFLIX

Based on the eponymous short story by Stephen King, the story is about Craig, a young boy who forms a bond with a billionaire who happens to pass away. When things were just settling back to normalcy, Craig realises that he can speak to his dead friend using a phone.

21. CONVERSATIONS WITH A KILLER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER TAPES – NETFLIX

Here comes the third entry into the series. The latest part introduces us to Jeffrey Dahmer, who was responsible for 17 murders between 1978 and 1991. When the police raided his home, a freezer full of human remains was found. The true-crime documentary also shows why wasn’t he arrested before.

22. ONCE AGAIN – MX PLAYER

The Korean series revolves around the Song family making us understand the meaning of love and family.

23. GODFATHER – THEATRE

The film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer and features superstar Chiranjeevi in the lead. When the leader of the ruling party dies, it leads to social and political unrest. That’s when a mysterious man steps in to ascend the throne.
