The videos and photos from the internal event such as Shahrukh Khan streaking of Jhoome Jo Pathan or Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra grooving to Gallan Goodiyaan and others, were widely shared online. Gigi Hadid and Varun Dhawan’s video also grabbed attention, but for the wrong reasons.

So, last night when Varun Dhawan brought Gigi Hadid on stage, he picked her up and turned like the Bollywood film hero that he is. He then kissed her on the cheek as he put it on and again showed her the way to the audience, like a gentleman.

However, some netizens didn’t like the fact that Varun kissed her and picked her up in his arms. It was all choreographed and pre-planned, of course, but netizens trolled and bashed Varun online. Varun Dhawan took to his social media and posted a tweet which also confirmed that it was pre-planned. Still, netizens believe that he should have gotten Gigi’s consent before kissing her on the cheeks. And now Gigi Hadid seems to have backed Varun.

Gigi Hadid shared one of the videos of herself and Varun online and wrote, “@varundvn makes my Bollywood dreams come true with lots of laughing emoticons. The music and atmosphere of Bollywood seems to suit Gigi very well. She was seen wearing Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s outfit and heaped praise on the designer as well. Actor Bhediya responded to the supermodel’s story and called her the cutest and sweetest and also added that she has made his dream come true.
