Brahmastra was a big success at the box office and in its first week the film collected Rs. 173.22 crore nett in India (all languages). In its second week, it showed a decline but still minted a good amount of Rs. 57.43 crores nett. All eyes were now on how much it would collect in its third weekend. Well, the third week of Brahmastra started with a bang thanks to National Cinema Day. Friday, September 23, was observed as National Cinema Day and ticket prices across all theaters across the country were just Rs. 75 due to which the footfalls in theaters were quite high.

On its third Friday, Brahmastra collected Rs. 10.79 nett in India (all languages) but the film failed to maintain the momentum on its third Saturday and showed a drop in collection. On its day 16 Brahmastra collected Rs. 6.03 crore at the Indian box office, taking the total to Rs. 247.46 crores. Well, today the movie will cost Rs. 250 crores at the box office.

So far, Brahmastra is in second place when it comes to the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. At number 1 is The Kashmir Files with a collection of Rs. 252.90 crores. But today Brahmastra can surpass the collection of Kashmir Files and become the highest grossing Hindi film of the year.

Meanwhile, the makers of Brahmastra shared the worldwide gross collection of the film and according to them, in 10 days the film has collected Rs. 360 crore gross worldwide.

On the other hand, Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan Chup also showed a dip at the box office. On its first day (National Film Day), the film collected Rs. 3.06 crore and on its second day the film collected Rs. 2.07 crores, taking the two-day total to Rs. 5.13 crores.
