Actor Sonu Sood, in a true sense, is a real-life hero. When the world was battling the deadly Coronavirus, he was the only actor who came forward to help the poor and needy people. Be it about helping poor migrants to reach their homes safely, providing financial and medical help, or arranging oxygen cylinders during the crisis, Sonu had gone to extra lengths to help people during the pandemic. As the Simmba actor turns 49 today, we bring to you some of his humanitarian initiatives to explain how he became the National Hero Of 2020.
The Dabangg actor also gave his Mumbai hotel in Juhu to doctors when there was a dearth of hospital beds. He provided his rooms to doctors who were treating the Covid patients as because of the spread of the virus, they could not go to their homes. Thus, Sonu opened the doors of his hotel to accommodate the health workers. The Happy New Year actor also arranged medicines and oxygen cylinders for the poor and needy. Not just that, Sonu also launched the ‘Shakti Annadanam scheme’ to feed the hungry and the ‘Pravasi Rojgar’ campaign to help migrant workers find work.
Recently, Sonu Soon arranged a chartered flight to airlift a group of Indian students stuck in Kyrgyzstan. Even now when the pandemic is over, the actor continues to help poor and needy people. Last month, he helped a little Bihar girl born with four arms and four legs. He sent Chaumukhi Kumari to Surat for the operation, which took seven hours and turned out successful.
We at SpotboyE wish Sonu Sood a very Happy Birthday!
