Hosted by Bitika Anand, the new show features members of the legal profession and attempts to explore the personality behind the lawyer.

In the latest episode of the show, Lakshmikumaran talks about what drives him, his approach to life, his motivation, the people who have inspired him and his views on spirituality.

Discussing his inspiration, he shared that what drove him was his passion for law and that knowledge is meant to be shared. He further said that his contribution was to encourage budding young lawyers.

“We are committed to ensure that these impersonal lawyers coming from various law schools in India, how can we make them outstanding lawyers. Whether they end up leaving and starting their own doesn’t matter“, he said.

He also revealed that he loves technology and working in a space where it intersects with the law.

Lakshmikumaran also shared that he has participated in marathons and running has helped him a lot.

“If you have a purpose in life that your happiness is in the happiness of others, then life is beautiful“, he added.

Explaining what motivates him in life, he said it’s love for passion, not love for money.

Former Attorney General K Parasaran is his personal inspiration and role model, Lakshmikumaran further shared.

Discussing his hobbies, he said he loves classical music, is a voracious reader, does yoga and sings mantras.

“Suffice it to say, there is power and I believe in it, and as for me, I must do my work to the best of my ability and leave the results to God. Many times human beings feel bad if they fail, but if you offer both to God, you become weightless – no weight on you”, he developed his views on spirituality.

The new show, hosted by Bithika Anand, will see eminent lawyers talk about transformative moments in their lives, their spiritual journey and insights that only became clear later.

In a series of candid conversations, Anand will try to reveal the true nature of the guests in terms of depth of thought and explore their lighter sides, including their choices in entertainment, lifestyle, hobbies and interests.

The show’s first season was filmed virtually and will stream exclusively on Bar & Bench’s YouTube channel. Fresh episodes of Heartfelt conversations with Bitika Anand will air every Friday.
